Divorce Answer & Counterclaim WITHOUT Minor Children

This document is used to formally respond to a Petition for Divorce when no minor children are involved. If you’ve been served divorce papers by your spouse, you are legally required to file an Answer—regardless of whether you agree with the terms. This form also gives you the opportunity to file a Counterclaim if you disagree with any part of the petition or want to include your own requests (such as property division, debt responsibility, or restoring a former name).
