Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

The Dougherty County Law Library is located at 225 Pine Avenue, Room 121, in the Judicial Building in Albany, Georgia.

The Library is a public legal resource center dedicated to serving both self-represented individuals and legal professionals. We provide access to legal research tools such as LexisNexis, law books, and self-help materials. We assist with understanding legal forms and procedures related to divorce, custody, name changes, small claims, and more.

In addition to public resources, we offer conference room rentals for legal professionals and provide Webex-equipped private rooms for those needing space to attend virtual court hearings. Our mission is to improve access to justice by equipping the community with legal knowledge, tools, and support.
